CM Yogi to Inaugurate Bhopa Bazaar Overbridge in Chauri Chaura and Lay Service Road Foundation
Residents and daily commuters across Chauri Chaura in Gorakhpur district are set to receive a major infrastructure upgrade as Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has granted formal consent to inaugurate the newly completed railway overbridge (ROB) at Bhopa Bazaar. The key connectivity project eliminates persistent gridlocks at the railway crossing while providing smooth transit across the historical town. Alongside opening the overbridge to vehicular traffic, the Chief Minister will also lay the foundation stone for a dedicated service road running parallel to the structure. While an initial ceremony had been tentatively slated for October 17, the official rollout schedule is currently being finalized, with administrative wings moving quickly to wrap up finishing touches and site security measures.
