According to the Vedic calendar, the Panchami Tithi of the Krishna Paksha (dark fortnight) of Chaitra month begins on March 7th at 7:17 PM. This Tithi will end on March 8th at 9:10 PM. Therefore, the festival of Rang Panchami will be celebrated on March 8th.

Rang Panchami Puja Rituals
- Get up early in the morning, take a bath and wear clean clothes.
- Offer arghya to Sun God.
- Spread a yellow cloth on the stool.
- Install the idol of Lord Vishnu along with Lord Radha-Krishna and Goddess Lakshmi.
- Apply tilak and offer him a garland of flowers.
- Offer gulal and abir at the feet of the Lord.
- Light a lamp of desi ghee and perform aarti.
- Chant mantras.
- Pray for attaining happiness and peace in life.
- Offer fruits, sweets and other things.
- Donate things like food, money etc.
Remedies for Rang Panchami
On this day, during the puja, offer a rose flower to Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Vishnu. After some time, wrap this flower in a red cloth with rice and a coin and place it in your safe. According to religious belief, this practice provides relief from financial difficulties and brings financial gain. It also ensures the blessings of Goddess Lakshmi.
