Following the devastating flash floods that swept across northern border districts in Nepal from the Tibetan border, major socio-cultural organizations have stepped forward in solidarity. The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) have expressed profound grief over the heavy loss of life and property, actively mobilizing volunteers and relief operations to support affected communities and stranded Indian tourists.
RSS Expresses Grief and Pledges Immediate Support
The massive deluge caused catastrophic damage across key Nepalese districts, including Rasuwa, Dhading, Nuwakot, Chitwan, and East Nawalparasi, leaving several people dead and hundreds missing. Reacting to the unprecedented crisis, RSS General Secretary Dattatreya Hosabale issued an official statement expressing heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and those injured.
Emphasizing organizational commitment, Hosabale stated that RSS volunteers are fully prepared to support disaster victims and deliver all possible assistance. He passionately urged citizens and community members across borders to come forward and extend whatever help they can during this tragic humanitarian emergency.
VHP Mobilizes Relief Funds and Aid for Affected Communities
Joining the relief efforts, Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) National General Secretary Bajrang Bagda also conveyed deep sorrow over the widespread destruction.
