Winning her trust under the fictitious moniker of Krish Jain, the man later relocated to Karond, Bhopal, for work. A few days prior to the rescue, the accused lured the young woman to Karond Square under the pretext of meeting, subsequently escorting her to the Bhopal Railway Station before boarding a train to New Delhi. Meanwhile, upon noticing her failure to return home, panicked family members immediately lodged a formal missing person report with the local police, sharing photographs that were subsequently circulated across inter-state railway networks.
