How did Rakesh Roshan shoot the scene?

In an interview with Pinkvilla, Deepshikha spoke about her experience working on Koyla. Deepshikha said that while reading the script, she was stunned and was wondering how Rakesh Roshan would film the scene. She said, "I asked Rakesh sir, 'When are we shooting that scene?' He replied, 'Do you remember everything?' I said, 'Absolutely.'"

Deepshikha herself gave instructions

Deepshikha revealed that her mother was present with her on set throughout the entire shoot of this scene. "I reassured my mother, telling her not to worry, everything will be fine," she said. Deepshikha then asked Rakesh Roshan to position the camera at shoulder level so that her tube top wouldn't be visible to others. The scene was shot this way, and from that angle, it appeared as if she wasn't wearing any clothes. Deepshikha explained that the scene went smoothly, and Rakesh Roshan was pleased with how well it was done.

There was a lot of commotion on the scene

This scene created a stir as soon as the film was released. Many people told Deepshikha about it, and it created a ruckus. Deepshikha said, "Even people close to me started saying, 'What have you done? You've taken off your clothes on screen.' These were my own people, and I used to cry over it."

Deepshikha further explained that her daughter broke the Koyla CD and she wondered, "Why did I do that?" It felt as if this one thing had overshadowed her entire career. People made it embarrassing. It's worth noting that Deepshikha was only 20 years old when she acted in this scene, and Amrish Puri was with her.
