BOI SO Recruitment 2026: Online Registration for 205 Specialist Officer Posts Begins Soon

Eligibility Criteria and Age Limits

Age calculations for the recruitment process will be determined as of August 1, 2026:

• Age Limits: Depending on the specific post and scale, minimum age criteria range from 21, 22, 27, 28, to 32 years, while maximum age limits range from 30, 35, 37, to 40 years. Standard age relaxations will be applicable to candidates from reserved categories as per government guidelines.

• Educational Qualifications: Applicants must possess a graduation degree or relevant professional technical qualifications (such as B.E./B.Tech, MCA, LLB, or MBA depending on the post) from a recognized university or institute.

Selection Process and Exam Pattern

The selection process for BOI Specialist Officer posts will involve a structured testing framework:

• Online Written Examination: The exam will feature objective-type questions covering the English Language (carrying 25 marks) and Professional Knowledge relevant to the post (carrying 100 marks).

• Negative Marking: A penalty of one-fourth (0.25) marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
