CM Yogi Holds Janta Darshan in Gorakhpur: Directs Officials for Prompt Solutions and Warns Illegal Land Grabbers

Continuing his steadfast commitment to grassroots governance and direct public engagement, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath hosted a comprehensive public grievance hearing (Janta Darshan) at the Gorakhnath Temple complex in Gorakhpur. Interacting directly with citizens who had gathered to voice their concerns, the Chief Minister listened to every individual grievance with rapt attention, issuing strict directives to district and administrative officers to ensure swift, transparent, and qualitative resolutions.

Prioritizing Public Grievances and Ensuring Transparent Justice

Moving methodically through the rows of attendees seated outside the Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhavan, CM Yogi personally met with approximately 150 citizens who had traveled from various regions. Handing over individual applications to concerned departmental heads, he emphasized that resolving public grievances is the highest priority of state governance.

The Chief Minister made it clear that administrative negligence or delays in handling public complaints will not be tolerated. He reiterated that every victim must be treated with utmost sensitivity and assured full government backing, declaring that no injustice will be allowed against any citizen of the state.

Strict Action Against Land Encroachers and Financial Aid for Medical Treatment

During the interaction, several citizens approached the Chief Minister seeking urgent financial assistance for critical medical treatments. Assuring them of unconditional state support, CM Yogi instructed officials to expedite hospital estimate procedures so that funds could be sanctioned immediately.

Addressing broader law and order concerns, the Chief Minister issued a stern warning against anti-social elements. He directed officers to take uncompromising, strict legal action against professional land mafias and illegal encroachers who attempt to bully or displace vulnerable citizens, stating that lawbreakers will face zero leniency.

Traditional Routine: Temple Worship and Cow Service

True to his daily spiritual discipline whenever visiting Gorakhpur, CM Yogi began his morning with traditional rituals. He offered prayers to Guru Gorakhnath inside the main temple sanctum and paid respectful obeisance at the samadhi site of his revered preceptor, the late Mahant Avedyanath. Emphasizing his lifelong compassion for animal welfare, the Chief Minister spent time visiting the temple's cowshed (gaushala), affectionately petting the cattle and feeding them jaggery by hand.
