Administration Deploys Heavy Security and Bulldozers to Clear Illegal Idgah and Graveyard on Village Land

Intensifying its ongoing state-level crackdown on public property encroachments, the district administration in Sambhal has executed a high-profile demolition drive in Madhan village under the Asmoli block. Acting on the formal legal orders passed by the Tehsildar Court and the SDM Judicial, a combined task force comprising revenue officers, civil police, and rapid response personnel moved in on Tuesday to reclaim valuable community assets. Using heavy machinery, the authorities successfully dismantled unauthorized structures built over designated village land, restoring the parcels to public ownership in an operation that proceeded without disruption.

Legal Precedents and Formal Eviction Rulings

The administrative intervention followed strict adherence to statutory legal frameworks under Uttar Pradesh land management laws. Formal eviction orders were initially issued by the Tehsildar Court invoking Section 67 of the Uttar Pradesh Revenue Code, 2006, targeting the unauthorized use of graveyard land situated at Khasra number 208 spanning an area of 0.0070 hectares in Madhan village. This was supplemented by subsequent judicial directives delivered on July 8 by the SDM Judicial under Section 134 regarding adjacent plots, prompting Tehsildar Dhirendra Pratap Singh to establish an integrated enforcement contingent.

Deployment of Multi-Tiered Revenue and Security Teams

To ensure absolute administrative compliance and maintain law and order during the sensitive operation, a large deployment was mobilized under the supervision of Naib Tehsildars Deepak Kumar Jurail and Shubham Pratap Singh. The specialized field unit included two dedicated revenue inspectors, eight accountants, and an extensive security grid featuring two local station officers along with roughly 60 armed civil police and Rapid Force personnel. The presence of this formidable security infrastructure ensured that the revenue team could carry out perimeter verification and oversee the heavy machinery without facing resistance.

Peaceful Demolition and Land Reclamation

Arriving at the disputed site on Tuesday morning, the administration commenced final verification before initiating the anti-encroachment protocol. The unauthorized structures comprising the illegal Idgah and associated graveyard setups on the collective village community land were systematically leveled by bulldozers, successfully clearing plot numbers 208 and 393. Tehsildar Dhirendra Pratap Singh, Revenue Inspector Chandrapal Singh, and the entire district revenue department remained stationed at the location until the land parcels were completely freed, concluding a clean and peaceful recovery operation for the region.
