A wave of shock and outrage has gripped the Madanmohan area of Sribhumi district following the gruesome abduction and murder of an eight-year-old girl. The innocent child, who had stepped out of her home to play on Wednesday, never returned, sparking a massive search operation that ended in the discovery of her lifeless body in a nearby wooded area.

According to local police reports, the perpetrator—a juvenile known to the victim’s family—lured the girl away under the guise of acquaintance. In a cold-blooded turn of events, the accused allegedly strangled the child to death, first using his hands and then her own clothing.
