The corporate sector witnessed a flurry of exciting contract announcements as three prominent Indian companies—NBCC India, Saatvik Green Energy, and RailTel Corporation—publicly reported securing significant new orders across diverse business verticals. Ranging from critical border defense infrastructure and renewable energy supplies to advanced port automation systems, these lucrative contract wins have drawn keen attention from market participants and investors.

NBCC India Secures ₹234.78 Crore Project From ITBP

State-owned civil construction major NBCC (India) Limited, listed on the BSE 500 index, has added a prestigious defense-related infrastructure mandate to its order book. The company bagged a major project worth ₹234.78 crore (excluding GST) from the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP).

According to regulatory filings submitted to stock exchanges, NBCC has been entrusted with providing comprehensive project management consultancy (PMC) services. The scope of work involves essential infrastructure development and redevelopment projects across 28 strategic border outposts of the ITBP situated in the challenging terrain of the northern border region of Ladakh. Following the order announcement, NBCC's stock displayed resilience, managing to edge into positive territory during Thursday's trading session.

Saatvik Green Energy Bags Massive ₹476 Crore Solar Order

Renewable energy player Saatvik Green Energy witnessed strong buying momentum, with its stock rallying over 2 percent following a steady stream of major contract wins. Its material subsidiary, Saatvik Solar Industries Pvt Ltd, secured a massive order worth ₹476 crore from Vikran Engineering Limited.

The latest contract entails the supply of high-efficiency solar PV modules, with execution slated for completion by March 2027. Notably, this marks Saatvik's second major announcement of the week, following an earlier disclosure on August 11 regarding a ₹400.16 crore solar PV module supply order secured from a reputed Independent Power Producer (IPP) and EPC company.

RailTel Corporation Wins ₹63 Crore Kandla Port Project

Telecommunications and railway infrastructure public sector undertaking RailTel Corporation of India announced bagging a specialized technology contract valued at approximately ₹63 crore. The order has been awarded by the Deendayal Port Authority.

The project encompasses the end-to-end design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of an advanced integrated gate automation system for the Deendayal Port Authority located in Kandla. Additionally, the contract includes long-term operational and maintenance responsibilities spanning five years. Despite the positive news of the order acquisition, RailTel shares experienced a minor downward drift in Thursday's market session due to broader sectoral trends.
