Bollywood star Salman Khan used his Instagram platform on Saturday night to address the alarm caused by a recently leaked teaser of the reality series Bigg Boss 20. The clip, which showed the actor removing his jacket and pleading for medical help, prompted fans to worry about his well‑being.

Salman's Clarification and Apology

In response, the actor posted a message on his Instagram story confirming that he was perfectly fine and that the editing of the promo was misleading. He explained that the sequence was intended to illustrate how contestant Qazi Touqeer’s fabricated illness had unsettled the housemates, not to suggest a real medical issue. Khan added that the cut was inappropriate and apologized on behalf of the production team, noting that the format used for promotion had caused the misunderstanding.

He later updated his followers, stating that the Bigg Boss team had corrected the mistake and thanking them for the prompt action.

Behind the Controversial Clip

During the opening week of Bigg Boss 20, contestant Qazi Touqeer claimed to experience supernatural visions, which unnerved his fellow participants. The following day, he staged a medical emergency, asking for a doctor, only to reveal later that he was pretending to boost audience interest. The promotional material borrowed this storyline, showing Khan in a similar scenario, which led to the confusion among viewers.

Beyond his hosting duties on Bigg Boss 20, Khan is slated to appear in the upcoming film "Maatrubhumi: May War Rest In Peace," tentatively slated for a 2026 release. The project, featuring co‑star Chitrangda Singh, is based on the bestseller "India’s Most Fearless" and has experienced several delays. He is also filming for "SVC63," directed by Vamshi Paidipally, alongside actress Nayanthara.
