Runwal Enterprises IPO Lists Flat at ₹305 on NSE, ₹306 on BSE
Shares of prominent residential real estate developer Runwal Enterprises made a muted debut on domestic equity bourses on Monday, October 5, 2026, delivering a flat listing despite receiving solid institutional demand during its public issue. The real estate counter opened at ₹306 per share on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), representing a marginal premium of 0.33 percent over the upper band, while listing exactly at the upper price boundary of ₹305 per share on the National Stock Exchange (NSE). The listing follows an offer priced within the band of ₹290 to ₹305 per equity share, matching secondary market expectations amid broad equity volatility.
Subscription Tally: Institutional Buyers and HNIs Lead Bidding at 2.5 Times
The public offer concluded its subscription window with aggregate demand clocking 2.5 times the total equity volume available for sale. National Stock Exchange bidding data revealed that investors placed bids for 3,03,19,681 equity shares against the net issue size of 1,21,11,294 shares. Appetite was led primarily by high-net-worth individuals and corporate institutions, with the Non-Institutional Investor (NII) segment subscribed 3.94 times, while the Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIB) category saw a 3.89-fold subscription. Retail individual investors displayed measured interest, fully booking their allocated quota with a subscription rate of 1.12 times.
Capital Deployment: ₹148.95 Crore Anchor Book to Back Debt Reduction and Project Expansion
Ahead of the public bidding phase, Runwal Enterprises successfully mobilized ₹148.95 crore from cornerstone anchor institutional investors at the upper price band. According to the company's regulatory red herring prospectus, proceeds generated from the fresh issuance of equity shares will be directed toward retiring outstanding corporate borrowings, funding land acquisition and construction milestones for upcoming real estate developments, and satisfying general corporate operations. Operating across affordable, mid-income, and luxury residential developments, Runwal Enterprises aims to leverage the debt-reduction capital to bolster operating cash flows and support upcoming development phases across target metropolitan corridors.
