Reliance Consumer’s Beverage Arm Clocks ₹5,250 Crore in Just 6 Months

Just three and a half years after its high-profile relaunch in March 2023, iconic beverage brand Campa has powered Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Consumer Products Limited (RCPL) to record commercial heights, cementing its position as India’s third-largest player in the non-alcoholic ready-to-drink (RTD) beverage market. Speaking during the company’s investor earnings call on October 30, 2026, Chief Financial Officer Ashutosh Goyal announced that the conglomerate’s beverage division generated an unprecedented ₹5,250 crore in revenue during the first half of fiscal year 2026–27 (H1 FY27). This milestone represents nearly 90 percent of the beverage category's entire annual turnover recorded throughout FY2026, driven by aggressive distribution networks, competitive price points, and double-digit market share across several key Indian states.

FMCG Revenue Hits ₹16,900 Crore: Staples and Personal Care Fuel Broad Growth

The staggering run by Campa forms part of a wider, rapid expansion across Reliance Consumer’s diversified fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) portfolio, which clocked ₹8,266 crore in revenue during the September quarter (Q2 FY27)—a 1.6-fold surge compared to the corresponding period last year. For the entire first half of FY27, total FMCG revenue reached ₹16,900 crore, reflecting a 1.8-fold year-on-year increase and achieving nearly 80 percent of the company's full-year revenue from the preceding fiscal year within just six months. The 'Daily Essentials' vertical emerged as a secondary growth engine, bringing in ₹7,000 crore in H1 (a 1.7-fold increase) supported by staples like pulses, edible oils, and dry fruits marketed under household labels such as 'Independence', 'Good Life', and 'Udhayam'. Meanwhile, the 'Home and Personal Care' as well as 'Packaged Foods' divisions recorded sustained double-digit upticks, propelled by nationwide retail penetration and fast-moving product innovations tailored to urban and tier-2 consumers.

Global Footprint Expands: Supermarket Entry in Australia and African Inroads

Beyond domestic dominance, Reliance Consumer is aggressively executing an international distribution playbook to position its home-grown brands on global retail shelves. CFO Ashutosh Goyal confirmed that the company has secured nationwide distribution across premier supermarket chains in Australia, including retail giants Coles and Woolworths, underpinned by dedicated local manufacturing operations established within Australia to optimize supply logistics. Simultaneously, the consumer major has made decisive inroads into the African continent, launching retail sales across Kenya, Ghana, and Nigeria. By pairing rapid cross-border manufacturing tie-ups with domestic dominance over daily essentials and soft drinks, Reliance Consumer Products is actively challenging established multinational beverage giants and transforming into a formidable global FMCG conglomerate.
