ArMee Infotech Shares Tumble 15% to ₹314 After Flat Debut at ₹375 on NSE and BSE

Gujarat-based enterprise IT infrastructure and renewable services firm ArMee Infotech experienced severe post-listing selling pressure during its stock market debut on Wednesday, September 30. After listing flat on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and BSE at its upper issue price band of ₹375, the counter succumbed to heavy intraday liquidations as trading progressed. By 12:20 PM IST, the stock tumbled 14.76 percent to trade at ₹314.40, shedding over ₹60 per share from its issue benchmark. The sharp afternoon drawdown follows a modest public issue response, where the initial public offering closed with an aggregate subscription of 2.44 times across all investor buckets, with qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) subscribing 3.20 times, retail participants booking 2.65 times, and non-institutional investors (NIIs) recording 2.24 times demand.

Mobilizing ₹300 Crore Fresh Capital: Strategic Utilization for Bank Guarantees and Debt

Priced in the band of ₹350 to ₹375 per share, ArMee Infotech’s initial public offering successfully mobilized ₹300 crore exclusively through a fresh issuance of equity shares, featuring zero dilution through an offer-for-sale (OFS) component. Corporate filings detail a structured utilization schedule for the net issue proceeds: the company has earmarked ₹155 crore to furnish performance bank guarantees critical for securing and executing large-scale institutional contracts. Furthermore, ₹60 crore will be channeled toward meeting escalating operating working capital requirements, while ₹6.5 crore is ring-fenced for the scheduled prepayment of outstanding debt obligations, with the remainder reserved for general corporate purposes to optimize balance sheet flexibility.

Diversified Operating Profile: Multi-Sector Exposure Across Enterprise IT and Solar EPC

Headquartered in Gujarat, ArMee Infotech operates across three primary business verticals: IT infrastructure solutions, managed enterprise services, and green energy engineering. In its core IT vertical, the company supplies, integrates, and maintains mission-critical enterprise hardware and software, ranging from high-performance servers and networked computers to interactive digital panels. Simultaneously, the company has expanded its engineering footprint into the renewable energy sector, delivering turnkey engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) solutions for utility-scale solar projects under long-term power purchase agreements (PPAs), alongside developing next-generation battery energy storage systems (BESS). On the financial front, ArMee Infotech delivered steady operational gains in fiscal 2026, posting a 9.1 percent increase in net profit to ₹45.5 crore from ₹41.7 crore in FY2025, while total operational revenue expanded 6.3 percent to ₹1,396.6 crore compared to ₹1,313.3 crore in the preceding financial year.
