Haridwar Robbery Case: Police has arrested the fourth absconding accused in the case of robbery worth crores at Shri Balaji Jewelers showroom in Haridwar district. This arrest was made from Yamunanagar in Haryana, police has caught accused Aman Kamboj. Police has recovered cash worth Rs 13,500 and a mobile phone bought after the robbery from the accused. However, the gang leader Subhash is still away from police custody. Several police teams are active to search for him.

Giving information in this regard, SSP Pramod Singh Dobal said that on September 1, five armed miscreants robbed Shri Balaji Jewelers showroom in Haridwar in broad daylight. The robbers looted a large amount of cash and jewellery from the showroom, which was worth crores of rupees. The police immediately started investigating the case and formed several teams to nab the miscreants.

Fourth accused in robbery case arrested
A gang member, Satendra Pal alias Lucky, was killed during an encounter with the police on Sunday night. Subsequently, two more accused, Gurdeep Singh alias Moni and Jaideep Singh alias Mana, were arrested from Bahadarabad area on Monday. However, the main gang leader Subhash and his accomplice Amandeep fled. 

To nab the remaining absconding accused of the robbery, SSP Dobal had formed four special teams. These teams were instructed to search for the accused across the state and neighbouring states. The police team, which included Roorkee Kotwali in-charge Narendra Bisht, SI Ranjeet Tomar, head constable Rajvardhan, Mukesh, Sunil and Satendra, arrested Aman Kamboj late Wednesday evening from Khandwa Chowk in Yamuna Nagar Haryana. 

During interrogation, the accused gave important information 
During interrogation, Aman Kamboj told that he was given Rs 50,000 in exchange for participating in this robbery. Out of this, he bought a mobile phone worth Rs 25,000, while he used the rest of the amount for personal expenses. Police have recovered cash worth Rs 13,500 from Aman, which was left over from the robbery. Aman also revealed that gang leader Subhash and other accomplices are still absconding. The gang had planned to distribute the looted goods during the robbery, but before that the police arrested several members of the gang. 

The main gang leader Subhash is still out of police custody. Special police teams are continuously raiding various places to search for him. Police is hopeful that Subhash will also be arrested soon. SSP Pramod Singh Dobal said that police teams are making every possible effort to arrest the accused and the case will be completely solved soon. This robbery had created an atmosphere of fear among the local traders and the general public, but due to the promptness and swift action of the police, the case is being solved fast.
