A 24-year-old girl in Bangalore has committed suicide due to blackmailing by her relative. Suhasi Singh was an engineer in a private company. The police have arrested Suhasi Singh's uncle Praveen Singh. According to preliminary information, the accused Praveen Singh had some intimate videos of Suhasi Singh through which Praveen was blackmailing her.

Uncle made the video fraudulently

The victim Suhasi Singh was living in Bengaluru for the last 6 years. She often used to go to her aunt's house. It has been informed in the police FIR that when Suhasi Singh went to stay at Praveen Singh's house, the accused Praveen Singh fraudulently made a video of Suhasi Singh and started blackmailing her.

was forced to come to the hotel

On January 12, accused Praveen Singh forced Suhasi to come to Radha Hotel. The victim reached there with petrol and set herself on fire by sprinkling petrol on herself in the hotel premises. Suhasi Singh died in the hospital. After this incident, the police arrested accused Praveen Singh. Praveen Singh's wife Sandhya Singh has also been made an accused in the case.

Threatened to send the video to parents

DCP Shivkumar Gunare said that a case was registered under HAL police station in which a young woman committed suicide by setting herself on fire. Both the accused and the victim knew each other for the last 6 years. Investigation revealed that the accused, his wife and the victim used to stay together many times. They also went for a walk together but for some time the accused started blackmailing the victim due to which the young woman committed suicide.

The investigation also revealed that the girl was blackmailed and provoked to commit suicide by threatening to send obscene videos and photos to her parents.
