Hamas called Trump's statement absurd

Hamas official Sami Abu Zuhri said on Wednesday that US President Donald Trump's comments about annexing the Gaza Strip were "ridiculous" and "absurd". The US decision would lead to instability in the Middle East.

"What Trump has said about Gaza is ridiculous and absurd and any such idea will only bring unrest to the region," Abu Zuhri told Reuters news agency.

Netanyahu meets Trump
