Due to good signals from global markets and assembly election results in two states, the market witnessed enthusiasm today after 6 consecutive days. Good buying was seen in small and medium stocks. The total market capitalization of all the companies listed on BSE has seen an increase of ₹ 8 lakh crore today. The market also witnessed a boom due to the better performance of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Haryana. The measures taken by China for the economy could not boost the sentiment. After this, pressure was also seen in metal stocks.

 


With this rise today, Nifty managed to cross 25,000 once again. Out of 50 stocks of the index, 35 managed to close in the green mark. The midcap index closed with a gain of 2%.

At what level did the market close today
After a day's work on Tuesday, the Sensex closed at 81,635 with a gain of 585 points. Nifty closed at 25,013 with a gain of 217 points. The Nifty Midcap Index closed at 58,536 with a gain of 1236 points. Nifty Bank closed at 51,021, up 542 points. Which stocks showed action today Adani Group stocks saw a great rise. After the better performance of BJP in the Haryana assembly elections, government companies also saw a rise. The Nifty PSU index closed with a gain of 2%. Trent launched a jewelry line of lab diamonds, after which the stock closed with a gain of 8%. HDFC Bank and Reliance Industries contributed the most to the rise in Nifty. BEL has secured an order of ₹500 crores after 11 September, after which a gain of 4% was seen. CLSA has issued a note on M&M, after which the stock closed with a gain of 3%. Metal stocks were under pressure today after the relief package in China was not significant. Metal stocks closed with a decline of 3-5% today. Nomura included JSW Energy and Tata Power in coverage. These stocks closed with a gain of 3% to 6%. Paytm saw the biggest single day rise in 8 months and the stock closed with a gain of 13%. SpiceJet closed with a gain of 8%. The company has said that it will add 10 aircraft to its fleet by the end of November. Vodafone Idea closed 4% higher after reports of talks with the telecom department regarding bank guarantee. MOIL closed 2% higher after its best production and sales figures for September. Godrej Consumer and Sobha closed in the red after Q2 business update. Ola Electric today broke its 3-day rally. The stock closed 6% higher from the lower levels. Paras Defence closed 5% higher after QIP issue and fund raising of ₹135 crore. Emkay Global initiated coverage on Genus Power. The stock closed 5% higher today. Transformers & Rectifiers closed in the upper circuit of 5% after the release of Q2 results.
