The Ukrainian army has captured two North Korean soldiers from the war zone in Russia's Kursk region. These soldiers were fighting with the Ukrainian soldiers along with the Russian army. Earlier, Ukraine had claimed several times the deployment of North Korean soldiers in Kursk but Russia had not said anything on this issue.
Ukraine shocked the world by capturing Kursk about five months ago. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said that ten thousand or more North Korean soldiers have been deployed in the war zone on behalf of Russia.
The two captured soldiers are being brought to Kyiv
Zelensky has said that both the captured soldiers are being brought to Kiev, where they will be interrogated. Like other prisoners of war, the captured North Korean soldiers will also get the prescribed facilities. Journalists will also be able to talk to them. Russia has not yet reacted to this.
