A strange incident has come to light in Una district of Himachal Pradesh. The wedding procession from Nari village returned from Singa village without the bride because no wedding was to take place there. When the wedding procession from Nari village reached Singa on Tuesday, the people there were shocked, because there was no girl getting married in the village. When the wedding party showed the girl's picture, the villagers said that no such girl lives in their village. Gurdev Singh Gyani, Sarpanch of Singa village, said that there is no such girl or family in the village. He called this incident unfortunate.

50 thousand taken from the groom's family 

The marriage was allegedly arranged by Manu and Rajeev. They are neighbours of the groom and they took Rs 50,000 from the groom to arrange the marriage. The groom and bride had never even met, they were just talking on the phone for a week.

The middleman said- the bride has consumed poison

When the situation became tense, the police reached there and when the people who arranged the marriage were contacted, they said that the bride had consumed some poisonous substance and she was being taken to a hospital in Nawanshahr in Punjab. The groom's side caught the woman Manu and brought her back to Singa village. Local Panchayat representatives also reached the spot. After this, the baraatis were taken to the Panchayat house and till the last news came in, the dispute had not been resolved.

Haroli Deputy Superintendent of Police Mohan Rawat said the police were investigating the matter. He said the groom's family has been asked to compromise or lodge a complaint at the Una Sadar police station.
