According to ANI news, according to the FIR, there was an organization named Human Welfare Credit Cooperative Society which started this fraud business in many states including Haryana and Lucknow on 16 September 2016. This society was said to be registered in Indore, Madhya Pradesh
It used to work under the Multi State Cooperative Society Act. The society offered schemes like fixed deposits and recurring deposits to investors. Many people invested in this company lured by good interest rates.
Artists become part of fraud?
Many common people got involved in this fraudulent scheme. This company suddenly disappeared after collecting crores of rupees from people. This society was running the business of collecting money from people for the last six years, but when people demanded their money back, its operators absconded.
According to media reports, both these actors had promoted the investment schemes of this society. At the same time, it is also being claimed in some reports that actor Sonu Sood also attended one of its programs as the chief guest.
