Amid positive signals from global markets, Indian stock markets opened on a green mark on Wednesday. On Wednesday, Nifty opened at 24289.20 with a gain of 75.90 points i.e. 0.31%. Nifty closed at 52406.50 with a gain of 199.25 points i.e. 0.38%. Sensex also opened at 79665.39 with a gain of 188.76 points i.e. 0.24%.
On Wednesday, HCL Technologies, Infosys, Wipro, Tech Mahindra and Apollo Hospitals topped the list of Nifty's bullish stocks. During the early trading, a rise of 0.90% to 1.46% was seen in these.
At the same time, the names of Titan, Adani Ports, Bharti Airtel, JSW Steel and HDFC Life were at the top in the list of weak stocks of Nifty. It showed weakness ranging from 0.29% to 1.16%.
