18 soldiers have been killed in an encounter with Baloch rebels demanding an independent nation in Pakistan's Balochistan province. The Pakistani army is conducting an operation against the Baloch in Balochistan, during which 23 rebels were also killed in this encounter in Mangocher of Kalat district. This encounter took place on Friday-Saturday night.
Encounter with terrorists
A contingent of Pakistani army had gone to Mangocher to open the road blocked by the Balochs for their demands. During that time, the situation worsened due to the use of force by the army and firing started between the two sides.
In a statement issued by the army, it was said that in view of the presence of a large number of armed people, additional troops of the army and other agencies were sent to the spot. Due to their joint action, the situation has been brought under control and traffic has started on the route.

A large number of security forces are deployed in the area and a hunt is on to nab trouble makers. This encounter took place less than 24 hours after security forces killed 10 insurgents at various places.
