Arrah Tanishq Showroom Loot: In the case of looting 10 crores from Tanishq showroom in Arrah, Bihar, the police on Friday arrested the liner and another robber. Both have a criminal history. So far three criminals have been arrested in this robbery case, a car used in the robbery has also been seized. Two criminals from Saran were arrested from Badhara area in an encounter a few hours after the robbery, two bags of looted jewellery were also recovered from them. 

Accused arrested in Tanishq robbery case

Bhojpur SP Raj told in a press conference on Friday evening that two accused have been arrested in the Tanishq robbery case. The first accused Suraj Singh, son of Ajay Singh, is a resident of Parshurampur village of Sinha police station. The second accused Vishal Singh, son of Ashok Singh, is a resident of Udaybhanpur of Krishnagarh police station. Suraj Singh had kept the criminals at his house two to three days before the robbery and both Suraj and Vishal had worked as liners together.

The accused have a criminal history

Both the arrested accused have a criminal history. Vishal Singh has 9 cases registered against him, including robbery and murder in Bengal. Suraj has three cases registered against him. These people came out of jail in February. Other absconding accused are being identified. Both have been arrested on the basis of technical evidence. Vishal was arrested from his house and Suraj from Patna. No loot material has been recovered from their house. These people had provided shelter to liners and criminals.
